Sailcloth Marquees for Southeast Asian buyers

Sailcloth marquees are still rare in Southeast Asia, which is exactly why event agencies, hotels and wedding venues in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam are asking for them. Majestic Marquees & Tents supplies Dutch-made Qtents sailcloth marquees across the region from our base in Bali, with canvas shipped from the Netherlands and poles, flooring and furniture available from Indonesian stock.

A sailcloth marquee is the structure clients photograph. The translucent canvas glows at dusk, the timber poles and radiating seams read as craft rather than kit, and a 14 x 32 m roof seats a wedding of 200 with a dance floor to spare. For a hire fleet it is the highest-margin line you can own; for a venue it is a permanent-feeling space that packs away for the off-season.

Who buys from us in Southeast Asia: Event and brand-activation agencies in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, resorts and hotels in Phuket, Koh Samui, Langkawi and Palawan, wedding venues in Bangkok and Manila, and hire companies building a premium line.

Not sure which structure suits the job? Compare it with our stretch tents for Southeast Asia, or ask us to design a tent to measure.

Why buy direct from Majestic

We are a sales organisation, not a hire company competing with you for the same weddings. We supply the structure, the spares and the knowledge of how to rig it, and we stay out of your market.

Every tent is engineered and made in the Netherlands by Qtents, a manufacturer that has been building sailcloth and stretch canvas for European hire fleets for years. We buy at dealer terms and sell direct, so the price you see has one margin in it, not two.

Our base is in Bali, in the same time zone as your business, and we ship crated for a 20 ft container as standard. Watch what we do in sixty seconds, or look through real installations in the gallery.

Sailcloth Marquees in Southeast Asia: common questions

Which countries do you supply?

Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam are the markets we quote regularly, plus Indonesia from our Bali hub. Ask about anywhere else in the region.

How long is delivery to Singapore or Bangkok?

Allow roughly eight weeks of production plus the sea leg from Rotterdam, and a buffer for port delays. Three to four months from deposit to delivery is a realistic working figure. Poles, flooring and furniture can arrive earlier from Indonesia.

Does the canvas cope with tropical heat and rain?

Yes. The canvas is fully waterproof, rated to wind force 9 Beaufort, UV resistance 9, and treated against fungus and algae.

Can you send someone to install it?

Installation supervision and crew training can be arranged for the first build so your own team can rig and strike the tent afterwards.

Can I buy spares later?

Yes. Replacement canvas, sidewalls, poles, rigging and anchors are available for the life of the tent.
