Stretch Tents for Australian buyers

Stretch tents suit Australian sites better than almost any other structure: uneven paddocks, beachfront decks, winery lawns and inner-city rooftops. Majestic Marquees & Tents supplies Dutch-made Qtents stretch tents direct to Australian hire companies, venues and private buyers, crated for a 20 ft container and shipped to Melbourne.

A stretch tent goes where a frame marquee cannot: sloping lawns, beaches, courtyards, between trees, over a pool. Two people rig a 10 x 15 m canopy in a morning, the roof line follows the site instead of fighting it, and the same canvas works as an open shade sail in summer and a closed, side-walled room in the rain. Hire companies like it because it turns over fast; venues like it because it disappears when it is not needed.

Who buys from us in Australia: Marquee hire companies building or refreshing a fleet, wineries and wedding venues that want a permanent-feeling outdoor space without a building permit, festival and brand-activation producers, and private estates.

Not sure which structure suits the job? Compare it with our sailcloth marquees for Australia, or ask us to design a tent to measure.

Delivery to Australia

This is how an order actually runs, so you can plan around it instead of around a brochure promise.

RouteProduction in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, then by sea to Melbourne. Other Australian ports on request.
CratingEvery export order is crated to fit a standard 20 ft container. No pole exceeds 4 m, so nothing needs a flat rack or a 40 ft.
Lead timeAllow roughly eight weeks for production and around six weeks at sea. We add a buffer before we commit to a date, because carrier ETAs on this route routinely slip. If you have a fixed event date, tell us first and we plan backwards from it.
FreightWe consolidate orders into shared sailings to Melbourne, which keeps your freight to a fraction of a standalone crated shipment. Quotes show crating and freight as separate lines so you can compare like for like.
Payment50% to confirm the order, the balance before the tent ships.

Why buy direct from Majestic

We are a sales organisation, not a hire company competing with you for the same weddings. We supply the structure, the spares and the knowledge of how to rig it, and we stay out of your market.

Every tent is engineered and made in the Netherlands by Qtents, a manufacturer that has been building sailcloth and stretch canvas for European hire fleets for years. We buy at dealer terms and sell direct, so the price you see has one margin in it, not two.

Our base is in Bali, in the same time zone as your business, and we ship crated for a 20 ft container as standard. Watch what we do in sixty seconds, or look through real installations in the gallery.

Stretch Tents in Australia: common questions

Do you deliver to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide?

Yes. Melbourne is our regular consolidation port because that is where most of our Australian orders land. We can quote to any Australian port, or to your door with onward road freight.

Will it fit a 20 ft container?

Yes. Every export order is crated to fit a 20 ft container and no single item is longer than 4 m. Pole splitting with engineered connectors is standard on export orders, not an extra.

How long from order to delivery in Australia?

Plan on roughly eight weeks of production plus around six weeks at sea, then a buffer for port delays. Three to four months from deposit to delivery is a realistic working figure; we confirm a date once your configuration is fixed.

Do you supply certificates for council or venue approval?

Fabric fire-retardancy certificates and the NEN-EN 8020-41:2012 structure documentation come with the tent and are available on request before you order.

Can I buy spares later?

Yes. Replacement canvas, sidewalls, poles, rigging and anchors are available for the life of the tent.
